Zomb’in the Dark
Zomb’in the Dark is an orientation exercise taking place in complete darkness. The objective is to find, within a given time, as many markers as possible. At the same time, participants must avoid the zombies and try to keep hold of their points by not losing lives.
Following the success of last year’s Vanc’Invasion event, Zomb’in the dark returns to the Fort de Vancia on 3rd and 4th May 2019 in partnership with VanciAventure.
Survivor or zombie?
There are two options: survivor or zombie. The majority of participants (500 people) will be survivors. Equipped with a lamp and a map, survivors seek to hit as many markers as possible whilst fleeing the zombies.
A smaller number of participants will be zombies (around 50 people), whose main role is to seek out survivors and instil fear in them. Each zombie will have one region to protect, and will only run after survivors for a short distance. But remember – no physical contact between zombies and survivors is allowed! Before you depart, you will be disguised in zombie make-up by professional make-up artists – get prepared to release your inner zombie.
