Four pools in the city have begun their summer hours
Lyon’s pools have officially started their summer opening hours, offering four places for people to cool off in the city with some swimming and aquatic fun.
Year-round Pools with Summer Hours
The most well-known and frequented, the Centre Nautique Tony Bertrand, expands its regular hours each summer and is now open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day. The summer season ends on September 8.
The summer hours, which include the opening of the center’s activity pool with fountains and slides, run until September 1 and the pool is open exceptionally on August 1 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Regular entry is €8 and reduced is €5.50.

A second year-round pool is the Piscine de Vaise. Unfortunately, it is closed this summer for renovations until September.

Seasonal Pools Open for the Summer
The first of Lyon’s seasonal pools, Piscine Jean Mermoz in Lyon 8 is open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. On Saturdays and Sundays, it opens at 10:30 am.
The summer hours run until August 28 and the center includes a 25m pool, a fun pool, a paddling pool, and summer activities including aquatic gym sessions and an aquatic garden. Regular entry is €3.40 and reduced is €2.60.

The Piscine de la Duchère is also open this summer, daily from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. until August 30. And on Saturdays and Sundays, it opens at 11 am.
The Duchère pool has educational and paddling pools in addition to the regular basin, plus diving boards and a slide. Like Jean Mermoz it also offers gym session and an aquatic garden as part of the summer activities. Regular entry is €3.40 and reduced is €2.60.
Piscine de la Duchère, 264 Avenue Andrei Sakharov, Lyon 9
The final seasonal pool is the Piscine de Gerland, which is open Monday to Friday 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. from July 1st until August 29.
The Piscine de Gerland includes a 50m basin, a paddling pool, and diving platforms of three and five meters. It is open exceptionally on August 1 from 2 to 7:30 p.m. Regular entry is €3.40 and reduced is €2.60.
