Lyon’s Fête de la Musique Returns June 21

The evening of music includes over 50 locations in Lyon and hundreds of local artists

 

This year’s Fête de la Musique kicks off at 5 p.m. in Lyon on June 21 and includes performances on stages and in squares across the city.

 

The annual Fête de la Musique comes to town on Thursday, June 21, with over 50 locations and hundreds of local artists covering genres from rock to electro to classical and everything in between.

Fête de la Musique is a one-night summer festival full of local artists from all genres of the music scene, performing in locations around the city.

It is free and open to all. Performances are held in each arrondissement, from the Grand Hôtel-Dieu in the 2nd to the Institut Lumière garden in the 8th.

Starting at 5 p.m., the festival features local artists in rock, hip-hop, jazz, pop, choirs, and even the National Orchestra of Lyon in a special concert on Place des Terreaux.
