The Lyon Market Will Feature Local Female Artists and Entrepreneurs
Visual arts studio Golden Holden is launching a bi-monthly female creators market in Lyon, the first edition of which will be held at Les Woraces cultural center (1-3 Rue Camille Jordan, 69001) on March 10 and 11.
“The Golden Market,” which will be held every other month, brings together twenty local artists and entrepreneurs in an iconic Lyonnais location to sell their latest work.
A Market in Keeping with French Tradition
Based on the French tradition of seasonal markets, Golden Holden‘s Golden Market seeks to showcase the up-and-coming girlbosses of Lyon.
Products will include clothes, illustrations, jewelry, cards, and other art all of the designers’ own creation. Customers can also get a tattoo, eat organic, vegetarian and vegan food, get their hair cut, and have a tarot card reading.
The market will feature illustrator Maïté Franchi, chef Octavie of Octavie & the Foodies, the designers of Oona, Cacti Magazine, L’encrerie Marine, Chiche, and Leonor Roversi among others.
