Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, I moved to Michigan, USA, when I was 18 to pursue my curiosity for different cultures and their stories (a.k.a, a journalism degree). Halfway through my degree, and after four years of French classes, I decided to study abroad in Lyon for a semester - a city I'd longed to visit because it was an example used on activities of every culture class I ever took for French. It's fascinating how the decision to travel and to explore opened so many doors for me, and This Is Lyon is a wonderful source of information that is out there to help support this marvelous lifestyle."
