Just a touch of Japanese culture in Lyon

Japan Touch is coming back to Lyon for the 20th time, from November 17th to 18th 2018, to give us a taste of its vast and rich culture throughout all different fields.

With 22 000 square meters of exhibition space, over 200 exhibitors and 50 special guests as well as activities dedicated to everything Japanese, Japan Touch is a unique festival in Europe.

Japan Touch on November 17th and 18th at Lyon Eurexpo

For its 20th edition, this event is taking place in Lyon’s Eurexpo over two days: November 17th and 18th. Tickets will cost you 13€ for Saturday, 10€ for Sunday and 16€ for the whole week-end. Parking is maximum 8€.

Among the activities and entertainment, you can expect to meet the Dragon Ball StyleZ community and see the Dragon Ball Diorama, the “36 vues du Japon” exhibition and the young creators village with over 140 presenters.

Games, blind tests and Japanese baths at the Japan Touch

Why not experience the well-being area (focusing on “onsen” or Japanese baths) or go sell/buy objects at the “dépôt-vente”? How about participating in games, blind tests, their giant Just Dance? For a more mature audience, there is even a demonstration of the Japanese art of tying someone up in an esthetically pleasing manner, called Shibari.

You’ve understood: there’s something for everyone and anyone intrigued by this country and its rich culture. Special guests will include Yoan Secchi, Marie Dauphin, Bridear, Jacky, Origane Koubou, Jean-Paul Cesari and Valérie Barouille.
