ID Créatives, DIY Convention: October 11th to 14th at Lyon Eurexpo
The ID Créatives convention is taking place from October 11th to October 14th this year, at Lyon’s Eurexpo. This event is THE point of reference in the region for anyone who loves to spend their time making things with their own two hands.
It will be full of exhibits, sellers and local creators, of course, but there will also be tons of entertainment and workshops.
More specifically, 6 different DIY categories will be covered: “ID fils et aiguilles” (centered on sewing), “ID scraps & papier” (scrapbooking), “ID gourmandes” (cooking/baking), “ID deco et brico” (decoration), “ID mode et custo” (fashion/customization) and “ID bambins” (crafts for kids).
The 100 hours of workshops will be full of activities such as furniture makeovers, sewing, jewelry making, customization and scrapbooking initiations, for adults and kids.
You will also be able to check out the itinerant exhibition over these four days. A variety of social media influencers, including Zak a Dit, Olivia the Needlebox and Laurel Design, will showcase their creations around the “Urban & Green” theme.

The convention will be open everyday from 10 AM to 6 PM, except on Friday the 12th, when they’ll have “nocturnal” hours and be open until 9 PM. Tickets are generally 8,50 euros but can be discounted in certain situations. It is free for kids under 12 and parking is 3 euros.
