Guill’en Fêtes unites community organizations and neighbors for three Tuesday nights
The Guill’en Fêtes summer festival comes to Guillotière in Lyon 3 from June 26 to July 10, offering three nights full of family activities hosted by neighborhood organizations.
The party spans three squares across the area: Place Guichard on June 26, Place Bahadourian on July 3, and Place Voltaire on July 10. Each night will feature afternoon activities for kids and adults alike, a snack bar, and concerts into the night. Every day starts at 4:30 p.m. and runs until midnight.
The Place Guichard day on June 26 includes magic and comedy shows as well as an Electric Safari concert with afrobeat, soul, and psychedelic rock. Place Bahadourian on July 3 has a clown show and hip-hop, and Place Voltaire unites pop, rock, jazz, and dubstep for closing night on July 10.
All events are free, open to the public, and organized by local associations. More information and a full program for the three days can be found here, and on the Salle des Rancy website.
Guill’en Fêtes is part of the City of Lyon’s “Fêtons l’été” program, which offers events every day of the summer in all the arrondissements of the city. The program runs from June 21 to September 2 and includes concerts, sports, arts, cinema, intro sessions, one-time and recurring events. The full program can be found here.
