Bien Boire en Beaujolais Returns for a Seventh Year April 15 and 16

Wine Professionals Will Reunite Over Beaujolais Wines

This year’s Bien Boire en Beaujolais welcomes five associations promoting the evolution of Beaujolais wine, with tastings and dinners over the course of two days.

The 2018 Bien Boire en Beaujolais conference will take place on April 15 and 16 at three châteaux in the Beaujolais. The conference brings together local wine professionals to taste Beaujolais wines and discuss the region’s production.

This year will include 220 wine producers and five Beaujolais wine associations, Beaujoloise, Biojolaise, Beaujol’Art, Beaujol’All Wines, and Les Gamays Chics.

Who Are the Associations?

Beaujoloise was formed in 2006 and focuses on creating wine with respect for nature and the consumer, while Biojolaise includes the Beaujolais’s organic producers. Beauj’All Wines is a collection of all styles of wine and the people who create them, and Gamay Chics will be revealing their new campaign called Beaujonomie, which focuses on revisiting traditional dishes paired with Beaujolais wine, joie de vivre, and togetherness.

Bien Boire en Beaujolais is becoming increasingly popular and this year includes 220 different wine producers.

Topics of discussion will include the importance of quality wine and the missions of each association. Sunday will host tastings and meetings with wine producers, while Monday adds dinners given by the vintners.

The event will be held at Château Ravatys (Route des Ravatys, 69220), Château de Pizay (443 Route du Château, 69220), and Château de Corcelles (69220 Corcelles-en-Beaujolais).
