What an evening at the Lyon Auditorium!

On Thursday 25 th of January, This Is Lyon invited its readers and members of the English-speaking community to a special one-off symphonic concert at the Lyon Auditorium. We really had great time. Here are some pictures of this wonderful evening.

We first shared a glass (or two) of red wine from Cote du Ventoux, thanks to Rouge Granit, and have some snacks from Bourbon’s House Café. This is Lyon Team was very happy to meet readers from England, the US, India, China, Scotland, Australia….

Alan Gilbert conducts Lyon National Orchestra

We then watched a concert by Alan Gilbert (New York Philharmonic) and cellist Sol Gabetta who interpreted Brahms, Bach and Martinu’s cello symphonies. Alan Gilbert dedicated this concert to iconic chef Paul Bocuse.

 

 

A great concert with a lot of energy.
