WaterTaxi Lyon offers riverboat daytrips and transport through the city
See Lyon as never before with the newly launched WaterTaxi Lyon, a riverboat company offering transport and cruises by way of boat along Lyon’s rivers.
The views from WaterTaxi Lyon are an incredible glimpse of the city’s landmarks from a different point of view.
WaterTaxi Lyon offers trips for two to 11 people on both the Rhône and the Saône along an itinerary of their choice.
The cruises run between the Parc de la Tête d’Or on the Rhône side and Fontaine-sûr-Saône on the Saône side down to the Musée des Confluences on the Presqu’île’s southern tip.
Alongside the cruise, passengers can also request champagne and wine aperitifs with tasting platters or bring their own food and drink along. Glasses and ice boxes are provided, so leave the breakables at home.
Passengers on WaterTaxi Lyon are in good hands with captain Jeff Fevre at the wheel.
The river cruise gives visitors a view of Lyon many people never get to see, from the center of the river itself. Passengers can even connect their smartphones on board to blast their favorite playlist, while getting plenty of gorgeous pictures for their Instagram feed.
