Carmen will be performed at Lyon’s Maison de la Danse
José Montalvo has choreographed a rendition of Carmen, set to be performed in December at Lyon’s Maison de la Danse.

A story told through dance
From 11th December until 15th December, La Maison de la Danse in Lyon will tell the story of Carmen through dance. There will be a range of dances: from classical, to flamenco, to hip-hop.
José Montalvo: French choreographer and dancer
The choreographer of this performance of Carmen is José Montalvo, who is well known for his work in all four corners of the world. Having won the won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Dance Production in 2001, his rendition of Carmen is set to be a treat for the eyes.
